The Wine Advocate Château Sénéjac 2000 : 87 - 88
Since this estate was acquired by Mr Rustmann the quality has soarde. A blend of 60 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 30 % Cabernet Franc and 10 % Merlot, this deep purple-colored 2000 offers aromas of black currants, cedar, tobacco and spice box, excellent concentration, fine purity, medium to full body, and ripe tannin. It should drinkwell for a decade. It is a sleeper of the vintage.

2005 Hachette Guide - Château Sénéjac 2001 (a favourite)
With its eighteenth century château and superb outbuildings, this growth distinguishes itself with its estate as well as with the quality of its wine. The 2001's majestic, garnet-red robe with purplish reflections impresses with the neatness and complexity of its bouquet, where leather embraces cherry and candied fruits. Just as harmonious and rich, its palate guarantees excellent development in the upcoming five to seven years. A delicious alliance with poultry or excellent cheeses will generously reward patient wine-lovers.

. Tasting Notes - Bettane & Desseauve : 7.5
With its dense robe and wonderful colour, Sénéjac develops immediate charm, a frank and mature fruit, a supple and tender body, elegant structure, and finishes with great freshness.

 . Decanter: * * * *
Good colour, a minerally, blackcurrant aroma, lovely hit of fresh, juicy fruit on the palate, good weight, appealing now but fine, firm structure for ageing. Drink 2007-2012.

 . Le Point (Jacques Dupont ): 15
Charming bouquet of red rose, violets and lilac, elegant, appealing mouth, good structure, with good unctuous tannins, and a fresh, racy finale.
